Flashes of Fiction: Eulogy

Hey. Tirzah here.

My character has started a new weekly challenge for me. This task is to write a flash fiction piece of no more nor fewer than 100 words (commonly known as a drabble,) based on whatever prompt I find, every Tuesday.
Consider yourselves encouraged to write a drabble of your own, based on the prompt or otherwise inspired by the vignette below.

Today’s prompt:

She stares out at the people, mic in hand. His life flashes before her eyes, time rewinding.

His face filled with confusion. That forced smile as the pain grew greater. Their arms linked as he walked her down the aisle. Him standing and cheering until he was hoarse at her swim championship. Holding a little girl while she cried over bullying teachers. Teaching her how to tar a leaking roof. Kissing her skinned knee and telling her to be brave. The tickle fights she always won.

“My dad—” She carefully sets down the mic, and walks off the platform.
